Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a sweet Barn find project! 1971 Nova SS 350 4spd car, BLACK ON BLACK (personal favorite). I had listed this item a while back and without much luck I decided to keep it for a rainy day. Well I am going to test the market again. This car runs and drives for loading purposes but is not truly road worthy at this point, needs a total restoration and deserves one! Details are as follows... True 19 19 code black on black 71 Nova, in 71 you could not prove a true SS without paperwork or a matching motor. This car has a 73 dated block in it, nicely built with aluminum intake (dont know exact specs). I have torn the car apart for paperwork but I have found none in the obvious places. But I will almost guarantee this is a true SS car. I have owned about 9 69-72 Novas in my time and 4 of those being true SS big block cars. I know what to look for when finding those and this one has all of the signs. My feedback will prove I am and honest ebayer and have a true passion for Novas. This car has power front disc brakes, a muncie 4 spd (prob M20, but maybe M21) i bet that is original based on owner history but cannot guarantee, has the indash tach, console with gauges and a 12 bolt rear. This car is basically unmolested it appears other than the motor change. Factory bucket seats are still in car, carpet has been removed due to a leaky heater core and owner wanted to preserve the floor...which appears he accomplished. Car is pretty solid, rear quarters had some work at some point and are pretty far gone. Floor and trunk floor appear solid, some scaly rust but solid while poking around. underneath car has some surface rust but all looks fairly solid, rear rails are average...but I would probably replace one to be done right. This car has all of the trim options including side window chrome, body side molding, chrome rocker moldings, interior ss trim including the in dash tach and console with gauges. Previous owner had owned this car since the early 80s and had done nothing to it, has been off the road for some time, early 90's I think, so i am highly confident this thing is not a 'clone' I have restored 3 of the 70 novas and know how hard it is to get these bucket seats with the correct seat brackets, console with gauges, and in dash tach are spendy parts to get too. A muncie 4 spd and a 12 bolt rear for one of these is getting harder to find, and to find all of this on the same black on black 71 SS 350 car....pretty fun car to restore!!! Take a look at the pics and let me know what you think, if you need some additional pics I can try to get. Lighting is not the best where car is stored but will do my best. In addition due to my previous experience, if you have a zero feedback please email me before bidding, or I will delete it, bad luck.
