I purchased this truck from the original owner in Feb. 2000.I have copies of the original title from 1954.This is not a completely restored truck. I have done some work on the truck, and have had work done.This is the original milage.I had the truck painted in 2001. the color now is the color when it came off the assembly line at the chevrolet plant in baltimore Md.I have painted the interior, and replaced the head liner and seat covers.I try to run the truck at least once a week, and at least once a month take it for a ride. The truck runs very well, and as far as I know everything works except the gas gauge. I did replace the sending unit, and it seemed to work for a short while,but it is not working as I speak.The dump body and all hydraulics work on the truck.I have 2 sets of hub caps, one set is what came on the truck,they need a little TLC, but are in o.k shape.The other set is a set that I purchased, but they are not for this truck. I used them when I took the truck for show.Will be glad to give any additional pictures or information that you may require. I have had this truck for 11 years I am now retired and more interested in my other hobbies, and would hope that someone out there would be interested in purchasing this unique, and unusual truck.I would like for all interested parties to be aware, that this is an excellent prospect for restoration.
