2000 Volvo S40 1.9L Turbo!!! 135,500 miles, always 89 octane filled (midgrade), runs great, recently put on new tires, brake pads, hub caps, headlight, and spark plugs. Has a winter mode, a sport mode, and a slippery road mode. Very well maintained! I am the second owner of this car; my aunt sold this car to me 3 years ago when she fell in love with the civic. She has regretted getting rid of this Volvo since :). Never been in any accidents or had any real problems. I am selling her I because I want a convertible – I know, very practical. Check engine light comes on every now and then for the last 2 years or so. My mechanic, along with others who checked everything out, said to ignore it. It shows up in the computer as a cylinder 3 misfire; I replaced all spark plugs just to be safe – drives very well before and after! The inspection on the car is good through mid 2012, and when it comes time for renewal, just have any mechanic plug in a mechanic computer to the car and they can shut off the check engine light (if it even comes on at all) and you should have no problem at inspection. Also has very very minor dent/rust on side backs (was knocked into while parked).. I am an honest guy and don’t want any surprises for buyers. Other than above she really is in tip-top shape – very well maintained! Very clean, handles and drives very well! This is a really fun car! Perfect for weekend getaway or commuter. If you are easy on the gas you will easily get in the 30’s for mpg highway. Buyer is responsible for transportation of vehicle once purchased.
