1934 FORD…3 WINDOW COUPE…33 GRILL BRILLANT VIPER BUE PAINT 350 CRATE ENGINE…TURBO TRANSMISSION MUSTANG 2 FRONT END…SUEICIDE DOORS NICE BLACK LEATHER AND OSTRICH INTERIOR VIN 18899904 MILEAGE . 18458 TITLE: Clear title in hand with a VIN that matches the car. THIS IS A FIBER-GLASS CAR, BUT THE FIBER-GLASS IS THICK AND NOT CRACKED UP. It looks a lot like a Body made by Street Beast, these were sold as a kit and a lot of the amature builder did a real bad job. Street Beast got a bad name, bacause of a lot of junky builds. I think its the build that determines the quality of a car, of course the body makes a difference. This is a thick body with no cracks and things fit as good as most. The builder did a good upper medium quality build. This is not a $50,000 dollar car, I know hard core street rod guys expect perfection, but this is a very good car for the price. It is safe, it looks good, it drives good, it stops good, I list the defects below and they are not a big thing. You hard core guys please don't email me with criticisiam about the car, this as good as you will get for the price, everybody can't afford you 50K on up car. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS None, this is a fiberglass body car, the fame and other suspension is good. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I’m a classic car restorer, but when I find a car I like, can sell for a fair market price and make a few bucks, I buy it fix a few things and resell. PAINT: The paint is a brilliant blue that shines like a blue Safire. It is viper blu, it has lots of metallic. No dents, no dings, no rust, no dry spots, no runs, it does have some minor marks on the running boards, they can be buffed out. I has 3 or 4 super tiny rock chips that are touched up. ENGINE SIDE PANELS: Past owner didn't like them, they have never been installed, they are painted and look good. They will need some fitting and screwed on. CHROME: What little ther is is nice. INTERIOR: The interior is nice, its all black and has no wear, no holes, no smoke smell and is very clean. It’s a simulated leather with simulated Ostrich inserts. A lot of guys like the simulated better than the real stuff, because you can clean it and they really look nice. You have to look hard to know its not the real stuff. UNSERSIDE: It looks good, but is not detailed for show. All the mounts and braces seem to be in place. GLASS and weatherstriping: The windshield is clear, the right side glass was cracked, I have it out at the glass shop and hope to have it in tomorrow. The windows are electric up and down. The doors need weather strip. ENGINE: The past owner said the engine is a 350 crate engine. It runs good and has plenty of power, it has a 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor. EXHAUST SYSTEM: Dual exhaust with a deep/mellow sound, the mufflers look like Flow Masters. The headers are chromed, you can see 2 places where the steering shaft has rubbed, not causing a problem, but need some adjustment. TRANSMISSION: Nice shifting Turbo 350, it’s a 3 speed automatic and has a Lokar shifter. DOORS: The doors are suicide doors, they open to the rear. REAR-END: 10 bolt Chevrolet. BRAKES: Disc on the front and drums on the rear. STEERING: Mustang 2 front end, this is rack-and-pinion and it drives good. Its not power, but drives good. WHEELS AND TIRES I love the wheels and tires! The rims are steel and 15 inch. The tires are wide whites and the hub caps and beauty rings look just right. LIGHTS and wiring: New wiring with a modern fuse panel, all the lights work. NO WIPERS! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! . GUAGES: The gauges are by Ford Racing, they all work. DEFECTS; 1. Some minor scuffs on the running boards. 4. The engine compartment side panels are not installed. 5. No wipers. 6. Trunk latch bottom half is not mounted. 7 I sometimes hear a pop from the rear when I can from drive to reverse (I’m pretty sure its from the spring, it only does it sometimes. WHY DON'T I FIX THE DEFECTS? I have 2 cars apart for painting and a couple of other small projects going "I just don't have time", so I'm passing a good deal on. All of the things that need fixed are easy, a just average mechanic can fix them, or just do as the past owner and drive it. TRADES: Please no trades, they never work out and are just to hard! The rest of the information is boring unless you are really interested in buying the car, its just buying details like shipping, paperwork, who I am, where the car is located and how to pay and contact information. CONTACT INFO: my cell is 423-506-8987, I do not answer when driving, while meeting with people, after about 8:00 PM Eastern Time or on Sunday morning or Sunday nights. Please leave a voice mail and I’ll get back. I do check my emails several times a day. cell 423-506-8987 email: dreamcar@live.com THE GAME: I don’t play the game like most sellers! I tell you who I am, how to contact me, where the vehicle is located, lots of details and welcome you to come and look at the vehicle. I don’t put my vehicles up for auction because it a big joke, most sellers just have their buddy’s bid the auction up to what they want. Read the who your buying from section, I’m 64 years old, I have been a auto mechanics instructor, was an instructor in the US Army aviation school for Chinook helicopters and sold a good business to retire and play with classic cars. PAPERWORK: I know what to do! We are just a father/son 2 man operation, but we are a Tennessee licensed/bonded car dealer and have sold cars all over the US and exported many. THIS IS NOT AN AUCTION, THIS IS A FIXED PRICE LISTING: I reserve the right to stop the listing at any time and sale the car “come look”. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO STOP THE LISTING AT ANY TIME. THE CAR IS FOR SALE ON THE LOCAL MARKET. WHERE THE CAR IS LOCATED: The car is here at my home in Athens, Tennessee. Athens is in east Tennessee, we are 50 miles south of Knoxville. Look at a Road Atlas and follow interstate 75 south from Knoxville. I live one mile and one turn from the interstate exit. My zip code is 37303. The closest large airport is Knoxville. Athens does have a good small airport, but has no commercial flights. WHO YOU ARE BUYING FROM: My name is Ron Watson and I live in the small town of Athens, Tennessee “Athens is called the friendly city”. We are located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in east Tennessee. I am 64 years old and work with my son Keith who is now 38. I am now retired and living my dream restoring, selling and improving classic cars. For 12 years I was an auto mechanics instructor at Tennessee Technology Center here in Athens. I am also a veteran of the US Army; I served as a Chinook helicopter mechanic, crew chief and instructor in the late 60s, I did spend a year in Vietnam. I’m Southern Baptist faith and proud to be an American. I’ve been married to the same good woman for almost 41 years. LIFE IS GOOD IN THE GREEN HILLS OF EAST TENNESSEE! TRANSPORT: EBAY MOTORS gives 3 instant transport quotes if you click on the link on my listing. US TRANSPORT: “No problem”, I can recommend a very large company, McNutt Auto Transport Service 800-755-2324. “open carrier only” US OR EXPORT “the best”: Classic Car Transport, LLC: This is a very good company that will handle any type of transport in the US or overseas with the white glove treatment. Call Steve at 913-749-0948 Email stevens@classiccartransport.com MY AREA CODE FOR TRANSPORT: The area code for Athens, Tennessee is 37303. I live 1 mile off a major interstate (I-75)and 35 miles south of interstate 40, so transport is usually very fast. PAYMENT: I require a $500 deposit for a Buy Now or to hold the car. Option 1: Pay the old school way face to face. Option 2: Pay by check, I will wait till the check clears, I have had a fake bank certified check. Option 3: The safest is to let our banks handle it, my bank is a member of the US Federal Reserve, this is called wire transfer. Option 4: Pay Pal is good, but it cost a lot. It cost me around 3%, I will take it, but you will have to add 3% to the price. INSPECTIONS: Please come look and be happy. All inspections are required to be done before the end of the listing. I listed this car as I see it as a 64 year old car restorer, please come and judge it for your self. I judge the car to my standards, this may not be yours. Paid inspectors are unpredictable, you might get a good one, but most of them do not impress me at all, most really don’t know what to look at, they make a good car sound bad on the report. They have to be very critical to cover their back sides and all their concerned about is getting paid. I understand how hard it is to buy a car without looking, but I think you should come look yourself. I don’t like paid inspectors, I like for the person that is buying to inspect for themselves. I think its fine to send a friend to inspect for you. To make it clear, don’t hit the buy now button and then inspect, come inspect first! TRADES: Please no trades! BOTTOM LINE: My firm price is $22,850 and I will be asking more at the big spring car shows. The game is not rocket science, ask a price and come down. I have sold every car I have ever tried to, so I’m not motivated to be bargained down. I WILL BE VERY HAPPY TO SELL YOU THE VEHICLE WITH-OUT AN INSPECTION; YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE A LOT OF NERVE. Read the ME section on the upper right hand part of the listing marked seller info. Thank You, Ron Watson cell: 423-506-8987 email: dreamcar@live.com IS THERE A WARRANTY? No!
