This is a 1968 2wd GMC suburban same a Chevy suburban. It has a 283 small block, and an auto trans, not sure what kind. This also has a stock 12 bolt posi rear end. From what have found that is a "kind of rare" truck. the body is in good shape for the year, it looks as if it was redone in the 80s. It does have rust, mainly by the rear fenders behind the wheels, both sides are in about the same shape. I have 2 Chevy half bed sides, they go from behind the door to about the center of the rear wheel arch, they would take care of almost all the rust. the rockers are all really solid as are the doors All the glass except the windshield is good but I have another one that will go with it. the interior is all there but not in the best shape, the seats need to be recovered and the carpet needs to be replaced. the dash is complete, but the dash pad is bad. the engine does run but it need a switch put in, it does start by hot wiring. this is a really solid restoration project, or with a little bit of work it could be an awesome rat rod. This is going back up, the buyer backed out.
