... Remembering back years ago as most SAAB owners it was my dream to own an SPG now I own eight cars all of them SPGs both hatchback and SE convertible models. I’ve driven and enjoyed SAABs for over twenty years it’s time to give others the opportunity of owning an SPG or SE Convertible. These cars need driven and enjoyed not stored … it wasn’t an easy decision to part with any of them. These are my personal cars each one is unique or special with a story. I started with twelve cars three have been sold to some great people the last to couple in Houston; the young lady drove it back home from Albuquerque. If curious how I decided this car was next … I own three of them. With that said … Up For Bid & Your Consideration a hard to find Platana Gray 1991 SAAB Special Edition Model Turbo Convertible. This was a limited production car in great original condition it only has 115K miles with a strong running motor and automatic transmission. This is the first automatic I’ve ever owned it surprised me the way you can feel the turbo respond with convertor. With the SPG performance suspension makes for a great road car. The interior in nice with normal dash cracks, switches and controls all work and illuminate the turn stalk doesn’t even drop on right turns any SAAB person knows what I mean. Top is a few years old & headliner are in excellent condition and work perfectly. Body is dent free and straight including all SPG panels there are a couple very small blems as shown in picture not too noticeable overall paint shines and still looks fine. The top of bumpers show the normal sun fade but not too bad. All lights, lenses, moldings, and related are intact work with no cracks or visible damage. Alternator, battery, O2 sensor and fuel regulator have been recently replaced. Motor compartment and undercarriage are clean with no signs of normal oil blow by. SPG wheels are clean and straight with good set of tires. I’ve had enough of these cars to tell when one has been well maintained, cared for, and not modified this is one. As with all my cars I don’t have to worry about seeing another one at stop light and after 19 years still turn’s heads! Feel free to email me with any questions via EBay thanks for looking.
