55 2 dr wagon. This car is great for swap meets and hauling friends & family for ice cream. Easily seats 4 + with the original split bench seat up front and original rear seat. The rear windows roll down on this one. Although this car fires right up and can be enjoyed just as it is, it no cream puff. Its just a true old 55 hot rod with tons of the hot rod vibe, the kind you want when cruising your favorite haunts. 350 with aluminum intake and Edelbrock carb. Headers that run to fresh Flowmaster dual exhaust. Sweet hot rod sound! The engine has a mild cam. 3 speed manual trans with a Hurst floor shifter. The car has power steering and front disc brakes. The front end has lots of new parts like Drop spindles, bushings, tie rod ends, and 4 new shocks. All lights, brake lights and turn signals work. Heat and defrost also work. The car has had the usual floor rust. The floors have been repared with welded in sheet metal. The repair work is solid but of driver quality and not show. There is also 2 repairs by the rear inside wheel wells. These look to be older repairs but once again they are solid. The windshield, 1 vent glass, 1 flat rear glass are cracked. The wipers do not work. Missing door panels and rear latch handle. Interior is rough but fits the theme of the car. This car starts and drives around fine for a old hot rod and that just what it is. If you want a show car, keep looking. If your cool with a 55 hot rod that has a great stance, 2 tone flat paint and gets tons of thumbs ups, this is it!
