This is a 1949 chevy 1 1/2 ton (i believe) fire truck. The truck has the original 216 inline 6 I have just rebuilt the carb put in new plugs, wires, fuel lines and tank. The Truck runs but could use a good tune up. The trans is a 4 speed with granny low. I've never tried the pump but it may still work I have never tried to engage it. The original tank was removed at some point but whomever did it just removed the top of the tank and welded in a new one which still holds water. The Headlights, roof flood lights and siren all work. The truck has not been inspected in 10 years but would make a great restoration project, parade float, advertising piece or add it to your collection.
