Vehicle Detail

Up for sale are a 1972 Pontiac Firebird needs some work and a 1979 Pontiac firebird parts car. Let me start with the 1972 firebird, it has the original motor and transmission 350/350 trans. Automatic. The dash is not cracked. The car has rust the rear section needs to be replaced. I found all the parts needed to repair. The motor dose not run and the gas tank is not installed. The car has not run for 4 years. The motor dose turn over. The 1979 firebird will be the parts car. Has 350 Chevy short block and Chevy 350 transmission. There is no manifold, carburetor, radiator, etc. The car has almost no rust. The front fenders, window trim, front windshield, reflectors, rear trunk and doors can be used for the 1972. Most of the parts from the 1979 will fit on the 1972. The interior in the 1979 is not attached and missing many parts. Both cars have the rear fin; the interior in the 1972 is just Ok. Needs carpet and headliner. Door panels are in good shape. The plastic in the rear is also in good shape. There are no keys for the 72 firebird. I have a set of keys for the 79 firebird however the steering wheel needs to be replaced. Also in the 72 firebird the steering wheel is a GM steering wheel. So it also needs a steering wheel. Please ask questions, before you bid. This is a no reserve auction. The junk yard will give $300 for each car so the bid starts at $725. Only 29,000 1972 firebirds made in 1972. Last year of muscle cars. I will try and post more pics, This is a repost I was offered 2,250 for the pair. I waited for a month. There is alot of interest in just buying the 72 firebird. At the end of the auction if you only want the 72 that would be your choice I will make no promise of any kind of a discount if you just want the 72. Are the parts worth the shipping? Yes they are.
