Vehicle Detail
Ok, I am selling a 1972 Chevrolet Impala. It has a 76 Caprice front clip on it. This car is a FULL TIME convertible! That means that it DOES NOT have a top. I do have the top, and it is included with the sale, but it will need to be recovered before it is installed back on the car. The reason I removed the top is for the rear hydraulic cylinders to fit properly. If one was to install the top back on, you would have to change the rear suspension to coil over instead of coil under. ( not that hard or expensive to do.) With that being said, I will now explaine the rest of the car as it is, I know there are parts of the car that aren't perfect, but I would like to be fair with all potential buyers so you know what you will be buying. Exterior: 76 Caprice front clip is installed, the car is painted flat black. There are dings and imperfections on the body, but thats what makes the car what it is. The glass is all good. Interior: The door panels are very nice, although there have been holes cut in them for speakers (there is no stereo in the car now). The foam of the seats are all intact, just the covers are a little torn, thats why I have the mexican blankets on them. The top of the dash is cracked. The carpet is near perfect. Has a custom chainlink steering wheel. Motor: It is a chevy 350 2bbl with auto trans. Runs fine, puffs a little blue on start up. Has a sticky lifter, (makes a tiny ticking sound) does not leak any oil (I park it inside all the time with no oil marks on the floor). Suspension: It is on hydraulics, simple 2 pump system...8"cylinders, 2 switches (just front and rear, up and down). Has 15" red GM rally wheels with brand new tires. **This car was not build to be a showcar. It is a driver, that TURNS HEADS! You get LOTS of attention in this car! It is kind of a mixture of a lowrider / Ratrod.** (Although I think the hydraulics really suit the car, I may consider selling the car without the hydros, just the stock suspension) Please feel free to e-mail me with any more questions you may have. The car is Located and registered in Saskatchewan, Canada. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping.
