Up for sale is an awesome 1986 Monte Carlo CL. This car is a 1 owner purchased in 1986 owned by an elderly woman in NC. For a 26 year old vehicle this car is in fantastic condition. The interior is in great shape. The dash is in perfect condition with no fading or cracks. The upholstery is in great shape showing minimal wear and fading. The carpet is in great shape as well. it still has the factory GM mats! (worn and dirty). The vehicle has the 305 V8 motor that is running like a top. It starts nicely and idles perfectly. The car runs and drives nicely. The transmission shifts smoothly and runs out with no problems. The car was professonally painted 2 years ago using the original factory colors. Its metallic coat still shines nicely and there are only a few defects in the paint (the roof). The body is in great shape and shows only a few minor dings that are hardly noticable. Cars like this are becoming harder and harder to find. Owned by 1 person and driven only an average of 1600 miles a year! Defects: The car probably needs shocks. The headliner is drooping. Some of the moldings are dry and cracking and the molding over the rear bumper is fading. One of the rear speakers cuts in and out. All of these issues are minor and considering the age of the vehicle very surprising. This is becuse when the Owner once had the car inspected, the technician assumed the odometer rolled over and reported the mileage as 100k more than actual.
