Another nice find here at The Auto House! I represent what I see and know, and sell my items at a fair price! The vehicle can be inspected at 6655 Brentwood Blvd. Brentwood, Northern CA. 94513. 1972 Cadillac Eldorado- 2 owner vehicle- the last owner had it since 1974- clean CA title! I spoke with the daughter of the previous owner and she said that the miles are actual at 85,321. I have had the vehicle inspected, and we have put almost 200 miles on it. The vehicle drives wonderful! Engine- 500cu 8.2 liter- The engine is strong and we just changed the oil. The transmission shifts fine in all gears. The brakes are @30% in the front, 40% in the rear. All gauges work- power windows roll up and down as they should. The heater and defrost work properly but I'm not sure about the air- the compressor turns on but it needs a recharge. The spare tire is flat and the jack and tools are present. My mechanic recommended replacing the left front axle boot and possibly the axle. A new alternator was installed as the old one was not charging enough volts. Exterior- Very nice!! It has been repainted at some point. There are only a couple of minor chips here and there. The drivers door as one about an inch round. Otherwise, it is pretty clean. All the moulding is straight and present. The bumpers are very clean. The hood emblem is the only thing that appears to be gone. The top is in nice shape but could use a good cleaning to make it nice and white. There are no tears or rips. Interior- Overall it is pretty good. The drivers seat has some wear and a rip toward the top. The passenger and back seats are in good condition. The headliner looks fantastic with no tears. The dash has no splits but has a little discoloration on the top. The rugs are good in the front and the back has a small tear. The steering wheel has a little of the trim peeling off. The door panels are in pretty good shape- the passenger side bottom has a tear. Rust- I see no corrosion on the car. I checked the jambs and the trunk. For CA residents, you must pay CA sales tax and license fees. The tags just expired in Nov., and the registration is $85. For transportation quotes, look up dependable auto shippers.
