1931 Ford Model A Roadster. This is a very special car. It has a brand new rebuilt engine with less than 100 miles on it. It was professionally rebuilt by a classic car machine shop. It runs like a top. I bought this car in 1987 as a retirement gift for my father. He is now 85 and has had a stroke and can no longer drive it. He has lost interest in it. It was restored completely before I had bought it. It has new leather seats, etched wind wings, lots of chrome, rumble seat, it has 1935 wheels on it because they had a sportier look. It has newer tires and and new wiring. New radiator and new battery and cables. The brakes are good. Steering is tight as can be for a model A. New clutch, paint is fair but looks good. New carbuerator. This car was originally a prize in a bingo contest . The man I bought it from won the contest and could choose between $15,000 or the Model A. In 1987 he needed the money so he took the cash. A year later he won the contest again but this time he took the model A. He had no where to store it so he decided to sell it to me. My dad has lovingly put about 50 coats of wax on it over the years. We can get the build sheet from the company that redid it. The engine was bench ran for 5 hours to properly break it in.
