Vehicle Detail
Relisted to to a flake international buyer. Waited almost a month on conitnued promises of sending funds, but did not. So, if you bid and win this car, you must pay the deposit within 48 hours via paypal, no exceptions. If you cannot do this, DO NOT BID. Up for auction is a super nice 1955 Chevrolet 210 sedan. It is in excellent condition. And has no visible rust this car is super clean underneath and no rust is evident the rockers are not rusted, as well as the trunk. The interior has been partially redone with new seat coverings and some replacement parts. Has a replacement correct fitting radio that works. Head liner that I believe to be original is still intact. And the interior upholstery is in excellent condition for original. Carpet is either original or a old replacement. As it doesn’t look like newer loop carpet. It is in excellent shape with no wear or holes. Sunvisors are in original condition, and the dash is in great shape. items that need attention are that it needs a fuel sending unit. And the horn works but is disconnected because there is evidentially covering worn out inside the column that causes the horn to make contact sporadically. Additionally the heater valve is stuck in heat position. The engine runs very well and drives fine tranny shifts great and car drives like a Cadillac no rattles no squeaks no vibrations like a dream. It is still the original two speed power glide. Brakes are good, steering is tight, just too nice. The exterior of the car is in really good shape, there are a few small dings that are on the car one in the top of the driver fender, and a very small one in the trunk lid. The paint is pretty good it is still shiny. Most of the chrome is in very good shape, bumpers are not great but are still shiny. The engine compartment is pretty clean and original, mechanical timing advance still works. The trunk of the car is in excellent shape with original rubber mat and spare and jack and tool, also in the trunk on the side is the original instructions for the jack and spare! That’s right a 55 year old piece of paper!..i just can’t tell you enough about how great of condition this car this car is in. this is a perfect candidate for big block swap as the radiator is already located in front of the radiator support. Great great car for a build. Ask anything nothing to hide here! Come inspect anytime you would like. 812-522-4900
