Up for bidding is a fantastic example of an unmolested 5.7 IROC camaro. Everything on this car is bone stock with the exception of a CD player ( stock radio included), and a dynomax catback with 2 new high flow catalytic converters. Mechanically the car is 100%. No leaks of any kind and drives out like a car just a couple years old. The a/c will freeze you out, and the heater is fire hot. I have been daily driving the car for the last 2 months or so, and it has been a pleasure to drive. No issues or gremlins have come up at all. Its just a good old car. On long trips the check engine light will come on but the car runs just fine. I suspect a sensor of some sort is making it illuminate on long drives. All of the bushings in the suspension have been replaced within the last year and the cars behavier reflects it. Its very tight and handles super well. The exterior was repainted back to stock white a few years ago due to the typical paint flake problems white had on these cars, and all the factory decals were re-applied. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate the cosmetics to be a strong 8 or 9. The nose is in awesome shape, however it does have the typical rock chip here and there. The car is very very close to being a showroom new car on the outside. Its been in Texas all its life so its rust free and also has a newly installed windshield so glass is perfect. It is very clean underneath. Moving to the inside, this is probably the best attribute of this car. It is literally like stepping back into time. The dash is perfect, headliner is perfect, and the seats show no wear of any kind. This car also came equipped with the very rare Bose package that puts speakers in the kick panels as well as the folding subwoofer tray in the back. The original radio will still work with the bose, however with the cd player in place, the bose does not function. Only the dash and quarter speakers work like on a standard camaro stereo. I have removed the bose folding tray to preserve it, but it will be included with the car if you decide to put it back to original. All of the electronics including the cruise work like they should. The only issues I run into on occasion is a sticky passenger side window motor. Sometimes it works just fine, and others it does not want to roll down. It always rolls up, but there must be a dead spot in the motor in the rolled up position or something to that effect thats keeping it from working 100%. Aside from this, all is as it should be. All in all, this is a very well kept 5.7 car and would serve great as a daily driver or a weekend toy. With the options it has, its a rare car especially in the shape it is in. I have decided to sell it because I don't want to continue racking the miles on it as I no longer have a daily driver for my weekly commute. Whoever wins the auction will be getting a heck of a car. If you want to drive it across country I would feel confident it will get you there without a hitch. Its been super reliable for me and a fun car to own.
