MILEAGE: 88060 : HISTORY: My friend Danny Pryor traded a car and a pocket full of cash for this car. It was restored and nice, but the paint job was not the quality we like. Danny had it painted by and I promise you, you’ll not complain about the paint job. TITLE: Clear Maryland title in hand, it is signed of correctly. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? None that I can find. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I’m a classic car restorer, but when I find a car I like, can sell for a fair market price and make a few bucks, I buy it fix a few things and resell. PAINT: New and nice, it’s a deep burgundy/maroon and is show quality to my standards. The door jambs, lips, underside of trunk and hood are all painted slick. PPG brand paint was used, it is base coat and 3 coats of clear over the top. It was water sanded and buffed to a brilliant shine. This car is straight and the alignment of parts is as good as factory. CHROME & emblem: New or looks new! INTEROR: No wear, no marks, it’s a lot better than the pictures I took. UNSERSIDE: Not detailed for show, but no problems, no rusty holes or wired up brackets. GLASS: New windshield and all other glass clear, the side windows roll up and down good. ENGINE: The 396 engine is 350 horse power and strong, it has no blue smoke, no rattles, no knocks, no pings and good compression. Past owner thought it was original to the car and I think so, but can’t prove it. EXHAUST SYSTEM: Dual exhaust with the loud and deep Muscle Car sound. TRANSMISSION: Turbo 400, this is a 3 speed automatic that shifts as it should. REAR-END: 12 bolt rear-end, I did not check the ratio, it feels good on the road and I think to be the original. BRAKES: Power assisted brakes, drums all around and they stop good. STEERING: Power assisted steering, the car drives and handles great, I found no loose parts. WHEELS AND TIRES: New red line tires mounted on rally wheels. LIGHTS: They all work, even the dome light. GUAGES: They work, even the gas gauge. ORIGINAL AM RADIO WORKS SPEEDOMETER WORKS! WIPERS WORK! GAS GAUGE WORKS! Clock IN consol does not work! HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? HORN WORKS! I think they open and close good! They have to be very critical to cover their back sides and all their concerned about is getting paid. I understand how hard it is to buy a car without looking, but I think you should come look yourself. I don’t like paid inspectors, I like for the person that is buying to inspect for themselves.
