RELISTING DUE TO SCAMMER HITTING THE BUY IT NOW! THE ACCOUNT IS NOT EVEN ACTIVE NOW! I WOULD STILL SELL FOR $2400 JUST NOT PUTTING A BUY IT NOW. THANKS. IF YOU HAVE 0 FEEDBACK CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING OR I WILL DELETE YOUR BID! For sale is a 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury with a 318 Poly and Automatic transmission. Has factory options including Air Conditioning, Power windows & rear defrost. All the power windows work except for the right rear (I did not get to that one yet). Factory air is all intact but I do not know if it will work. The car has been in the family since at least the early 80's maybe earlier. Was owned by my sons great grandmother until 2006 when I purchased it from her. It had been sitting for many years. Overall the body is in good shape. The doors close about as nice as my new truck and line up great. Front fenders, hood & trunk lid were replaced at some point. Interior is decent for a driver. Has original spinner hubcaps. The back seat is in pretty nice condition and the rear speaker tray is perfect other than some peeling paint (it is one made of fiberglass, I had another one of these and the rear tray was a cardboard material, not sure why the difference. The 318 seems strong. I did replace the points, cap, rotor, plugs & wires. I do not have a timing light to fine tune it but it starts right up. I also replaced one freeze plug that was leaking. The great grandmothers son had put an antaena on the left quarter (guess he wanted it to look like an Impala, LOL!). I also took a video of it running. It sounds allot better than what my camera phone makes it sound. And there are no weird noises from the engine. http://s940.photobucket.com/albums/ad245/bryanhes/1965%20Sport%20Fury/?action=view¤t=VIDEO0009.mp4 New parts installed; Brake Booster- Master Cylinder- Wheel Cylinders- All Brake Shoes and hardware- All Rubber Brake Hoses- Cap- Rotor- Points- Plugs- Wires What it needs; Windshield- Front Driver & Passenger Floor Pan (rear floor is great) - Trunk Pan- left quarter panel repaired. I removed the fuel tank to clean it out and have not yet re-installed it. So it will need put back in. That is about all I can think of at the moment. If you have any questions email me or call Bryan at 918-408-8917. I will answer any questions I can. If you need particular pictures just ask & I will email them. My Feedback is 100% and I intend on keeping it that way. Thanks for looking. On Jan-05-11 at 11:19:13 PST, seller added the following information: Rear defrost works as well! On Jan-06-11 at 13:05:32 PST, seller added the following information: Also forgot to mention I put a new thermostat & upper radiator hose on a few weeks ago.On Jan-14-11 at 12:12:56 PST, seller added the following information: NEXT BID WILL HIT MY RESERVE!On Jan-14-11 at 16:38:15 PST, seller added the following information: I just added a few pictures of the trunk. Its not as bad as I described it I guess. Most of the rust through is at the interior edge of the trunk extensions close to where the main pan and extension meet(see pictures). The main trunk pan is not that bad and would not need replaced in my opinion. There are a few small holes in the main pan not much bigger than a pencil eraser.
