The truck was last regestered and parked in the barn in 1985 when the original owner passed away. I bought it from his son. To my surprise the barn was very watertight. There is rust in usual places but quite minimal. This was a farm truck on a 150 acre ranch, used to haul grain and do odd jobs. The odometer reads 38060. The paint and drivetrain appear original. Except for the sideview mirror, all the glass is in good condition. All the exterior lights came on when checked. I didn't check the inside lights. After filling 4 tires with air 3 still hold air a month later. With the spark plugs removed the engine spins freely and oil pumps to the top. The engine needs work before it will run. When I tried to top off the radiator with anti-freeze some leaked out. Not sure if it was from the head gasket or a freeze plug ?? The seat of course needs rebuilt. The muffler and pipes need replaced. The drivers window needs help going up and down. The drivers door won't stay shut. The horn honks. This has a 9 foot bed with a spare tire under the back. The stake sides looked cool so I left them in, they do remove. According to the internet this has a 216 CI engine that produced 90 HP. For the most part the paint shines up pretty well. The fenders in the rear have had a cow or two lean into them, why only the rear ?? I can photograph any part you would like a better look at. In person inspections BEFORE the end of the auction are recommended. NOW is the time for asking questions. Sold as is where is. Arrange financing and check with the wife before bidding if necessary ( someone told me I needed to put this in ). I will not handle the issues of shipping. I will help you load it onto a trailer.
