Vehicle Detail

this is a First gen. suzuki rg250 gamma HB edition. no reserve auction. this is the factory built race version of the rg250 and is very very rare, so it has full fearings and is like the walter wolff edition in every way except the colors. it is the HB whiskey team colors that are white and yellow with gold trim. for anyone who is familiar with these bikes you know how very rare and very hard they are aquire due to the fact that they were never sold here in the united states and the race prepped bikes were hard to come by in the first place. this particular one found its way into the u.s. by way of a military serviceman bringing it over in household goods when his tour in japan was over. the bike runs great and everything is pretty much functional. it does need a new clutch basket, cable and lever. it has also been layed down somewhat lightly but the damage is purely cosmetic. it has a crack in one side of the fearing and some scuffs. other than that it needs a headlight and a seat (this model came with a solo seat but can also have a tandom seat put on it as well) but the rear seat cover shell is included. I've had this bike in my possesion for over 15 years and have always intended on making it my track bike, but it always seems to be the next project on my list so it has remained garaged for all those years. the bottom line is that I need the space in my garage and the bike needs a new owner that will treasure it as I have and give it the life it deserves. the bike also comes with a new front fearing that is a track fearing ( no cut-out for the headlight). the only other thing it needs is a few hex head bolts for the stator cover, and bolts to snap on the body (minor nuts and bolts in other words) etc.. although this bike was never imported into the united states, it has been licensed and registered in both utah and new mexico. so as far as I know you should be able to sneak it passed the two-cycle laws in whatever your home state is. as a twin cylinder two cycle engine it has a sound that can't be beat. I ride a yamaha r1 as well but the rg is the bike that everyone wants to see and have me fire up for them to hear. there is just something special about owning a gp bike like this. It's that "cool factor" that comes along with it I think. thanks for looking. if you have any more questions you can e-mail me at joelwoodard@yahoo.com or feel free to call me at 801-687-9755 and ask for joel. I will also be entertaining all serious offers as I have it listed through another site as well. if you have a price in mind please forward it to the address above for my consideration. thanks for looking.
