New years resolution checklist, buy a 911!! This is an absolutely gorgeous 1983 Porsche 911sc finished in stunning chiffon white with brown leather interior. It has low original miles, currently sits at 78,098 (this will go up a little). This car was just traded in by it’s previous owner of 7 years and was looked after like a family member. Was always garaged kept and is in outstanding condition! To the best of my knowledge the car has been repainted once with it’s original color (Chiffon white was the original color) and whoever did the work took there time and made sure it was a high standard job. The paint is defiantly show worthy with some minor imperfections. 1) side mirrors have very very small rock chips. 2) On the roof line the previous owner tried to fix some paint imperfections but used the wrong color touch up paint. This has been improved by using the proper factory color and touching these spots up (I posted an updated pic of the recent touch up with the factory color, the old paint was removed first, it looks really good. OEM touch up paint goes with car).3) There is a minuscule ding on the front drivers side fender, hard to even photograph ( I will have a paintless dent removal technican take this out if possiable) . Otherwise the paint is mint and most impressive. All the weather stripping is in like new condition (probably removed during paint process and replaced with new). All of the emblems are in like new condition. Front and rear bumpers as well as all trim is in like new condition. The wheels are all original and need to be refinished to be perfect, the black is flaking in a few small spots. All the glass in free from any defects. I would rate the exterior a 9 out of 10. Interior is equally as clean! Never smoked in and still smells new. The front seats were redone a few years ago and look great (High quality leather was used $850 receipt for parts and labor). Still has the original Porsche floor mats, rear seat Porsche carpet (covers the rear seats when there folded down), new carpet in the trunk, and a crackless dash. CD player and speakers were updated. The only “flaw” I can see with the interior are the arm rest’s on the door panels are slightly warped, very minor. Interior is an easy 9.5 out of 10. I do have records for the past 7 years of ownership all of which are fairly minor things, but these records are available. Some recent maintaince includes, new fan blower motor, oxygen sensor, muffler, and tires. All electrical components work except the cigarette lighter. The engine runs strong and certainly has all the power you would expect from a 911. Transmission shifts fine, and synchros are good. I don't know when the last time the clutch was done but it fells good. I don’t believe the air conditioning is currently working although I was given a retro kit to update it. All the tires are Dunlop SP sport’s and have 95% tread life. Although this car is mechanically sound I have it knowing you may want to spend a little to do any miscellaneous updates. I was given a box of extra parts they go with the car: fog lamp, drive belt, hood shocks, original Blaupunkt cassette stereo, original steering wheel, extra set of keys, original owners books, 911 service manual’s, heater hoses, and a air conditioning kit. Options on the car include the H4 headlights, front lip spoiler, power windows, cruise control, tinted windows, power sunroof, European front license plate, Momo shift knob and the infamous whale tail. Chassis code does have triple z’s and was told it may have a European motor, but am not certain. This Porsche is a great investment opportunity and with a little effort you could easily have yourself a mint condition, highly collectible, and extremely classy 911. Nada values range from $16,800 for low retail up to $25,700 for high retail. My reserve is set very fair for a 911 in this type of condition, don’t miss this great buy!! Serious bidders only!
