This auction is for an unbelievable affordable 1 owner used car that would be perfect for your graduating high school or freshman college student as their first car or for that matter, anyone looking for reliable transportation with class!!! Here you are bidding on a 1998 Chrysler Sebring JX convertible. It is forest green pearl coat with a camel interior and camel or beige, convertible, (power), roof and guess what? It works!!! It runs really nice for it's age and has many new parts including a brand new transmission installed by Chrysler in April 2010. That's correct, you read right!! It also has a new roof, (8/06), new starter, (1/09), new battery, (11/09), and new front brakes and rotors, (8/10). I have all receipts for the work. It also has an ignition fuel cut off switch to help prevent theft. Best of all it has an automatic starter for those frigid winter mornings especially when the winshield has frost or ice. I passed the car down to my daughter for college and I wanted it safe so it was meticulously maintined. The engine is a 2.4L 4 Cyl DOHC 16 SMPI. The transmission is a 4 speed automatic. It also has an after market 12 CD changer in the trunk sure to make the proud owner happy. She has power windows and door locks and they work. She has a working power roof with convertible top boot cover. There are approximately 179,000 miles on it but they really are a really lot of highway miles as I live just about 50 miles from work so I put on 500 miles per week just for work. She is a beauty and the only thing I can foresee it needing in the near future is tires. Overall an excellent buy from a reputable person.
