Up for sale is a 1968 dodge polara with 318 V8 small block and 727 transmission. My family as owned this car for the past 8 years. Five with my uncle and 3 with me. The engine and transmission was rebuilt 3 years ago by a professional shop in norfolk, va. 3000 miles on engine and trans. Engine was rebuilt with all high performance parts from the top end down including but not limited to mild cam, valves, pistons, lifters, intake, carb, wires, hoses etc..... don't know all the technical terms but was done right. Plan and simple it roars and starts at turn of a key. Car has true dual exhaust from the headers back. Car was sitting up for the past 2 years while being started atleast twice a month. Work done in the past 2 months includes full break system redone with all new wheel cylinders, lines, and master cylinder by the Auto Clinic as well as tank inspection, fuel line replacement, fuel filter, fuel pump, intake cleaning and carb rebuild and adjustments by Butch at Glen Burnie Carburetors. Engine has chrome dress up kit on it that could be cleaned up as well as new chrome double belt alternator and pulley set up new in box in the trunk. All floors are solid inside and outside the car aswell as the trunk. Car does need some bodywork with surface rust on the truck lid corners as well as interior seats and head liner. Paint and seat covers and you have a new car. I am a oldsmobile man and though i know the money and time that we have invested in this car i need to make room for my cutlass. Rather see it go to use then sit up anylonger.
