Hello and thank you for looking at this listing: I have for sale a 1998 ford explorer sport. it has the 4.0 sohc v6 It is 4x4 and lifted 3" with like new 30" mt tires it has gray leather interior. It has some rust but nothing that bad, The worst part about it is the rockers. they are still solid meaning I can stand on them with out them moving but the "pretty part" that is what you would see is rusted out. The rear gate has the second worst amount of rust. Around the gate handle the mounting spots that hold the handle itself in have rusted threw and kept the gate from working. So I made it work, I drilled 2 new holes and put zip ties in to hold the handle to the gate the way it suppose to be..it works great and cant be seen. next thing kinda wrong with it, i say kinda wrong because it doesn't effect the car at all just isn't technically right...The power steering pressure line is no longer made for this car so I had to make one from a different model explorer work. the steering works exactly as it should, but it does have the wrong hose, this is one of those "you'd have to be looking for it" deals all in all it is a great daily driver with an off road twist. the following parts are new: spark plugs wires thermostat thermostat housing both the thermostat sending unites rack and pinion new power steering lines new sway bar end links new front brake rotors and pads new ICV (idle control valve) new battery new tires and 1st gen explorer rims it just got an oil change Also it was wired for a serious audio system. it has a big 3 upgrade, meaning it has additional power and ground wires going to the battery. it also has a run of 0 gauge power wire going to the back, along with a few mid wires and switch wires. all this can be removed if so desired, but I thought Id offer it up the way it sits. This is a great car, runs great, looks good and has a lot of money into it...way more then my asking price.
