Very solid, NO RUST. Completely strengthened and cleaned up many years ago. Garaged since then. The car was stripped for track use and has a very nice engine with carbs (that need tuning, cleaning). This car could be used on the track or have some carpets, side glass etc. replaced to be the basis for a very clean, strong road car. Motor: Fat Performance 1.7 built to a 2.0 with 96mm pistons and 71mm crank (2056), lightened flywheel. Tuna Can, aluminum valve covers. Hard transmission mounts. A regular transmission is currently installed, a transmission with the differential welded for zero slip is in the package or available separately (not sure of the ratios in that transmission). Weber 40mm IDEs. 4/1 Header and Dynomax muffler. The body was treated, strengthened and painted and it has been garaged ever since. The car had a 6 point roll hoop, that has been removed. Car has been re-wired and all electrical parts work (including horn, wipers, lights etc.)The doors have no windows, the door locks and steering locks do not work - these are readily available items in the aftermarket, so the car can easily be broughtback to being a fully useable driver. Also, the carbs need tuning - which makes the car difficult to drive at the moment as it does not run smoothly at idle. The car is street legal, registered and tagged - clean title.
