OK, some ebay 'accidently' the buy it now button when he meant to bid $5000. So here we go again, I apologize for the watchers out there. Up for sale is my cream puff, 1996 Impala SS LT1 with only 13,500 original miles! I bought this car because I have always wanted one and was waiting for the right one to come along...the story with this one is a older man bought it when he was 71 years old brand new in October of 1996. He then drove it sparingly over the next 14 years (under 1000 per year). Thinking this would be a collector someday, and it will! I have all of the original paperwork including the orginal purchase agreement. They only made this car three years and this was the best year, has the floor shift and the in dash tachometer, CD player, loaded. Listing shows 'power driver seat' and this one is power passenger as well, I am not sure if there were optional equipment on these but this one is loaded for a 1996. This thing is as clean as they come, still smells new inside. To my knowledge it has never seen snow and probably not rain! Has a couple of small door dings, more than likely from sitting in a smaller garage, probably could be fixed with the 'paintless dent repair'. I am selling because my garage project has taken over my budget, I have two 'fun' cars and one has to go. 1996 Impala SS in Black...completely bone stock, fresh oil change, this car drives like a dream, super fun and in style. I don't think you can beat the stance of these impala SS, they were set up nicely for a large car and the last good rear wheel drive performance sedans, buy a piece of history!!! On Jan-03-11 at 21:45:23 PST, seller added the following information: Ok, had a request for some pics of bottom of doors and underside of car, added as many as I could fit. Upon inspection, bottom of doors are perfect! Underside is like new, fram still has the factory soft undercoating, not sure what GM uses but kind of a greasy type soft undercoat, floors and all metal is clean. Thanks
