1953 Cadillac Coupe deVille. Automatic transmission, power steering, Autronic Eye, wire wheels, and factory air conditioning. This car has been in storage for 30 years. It runs, but needs total restoration. I drove the car up and down the driveway fine, but it has no brakes except the emergency brake and that doesn’t work very good. I had the carburetor restored, and a new correct Delco tar top battery put in. I have not cleaned the gas tank as yet so I’m running off a gas can under the hood so I don’t foul the new carburetor. It works fine using the original fuel pump. The Windows need new power cylinders, The hydraulic window pump works fine. The front floor by the drivers feet has a patch in the floor. The car has seat covers over the original interior. The original interior may still be good, these look like old factory covers. The carpet would need replacing. Also the starter bendix should be replace. The starter grinds at times when you engage the starter. The right skirt is also missing. I'm going back to the building where the car was stored to see if it is laying around. If I find it it goes with the car, but no guarantees. This is a good car to make a nice everyday driver. With a little work you could drive the car while restoring. This car has all the rare first time options. Air conditioning, wire wheels, and Autronic Eye. Sold where is and as is.
