It is a very photogenic car, but needs a little to be a solid driver... or quite a bit to be a show car.... I have had this car about 15 years and hate to part with it, but want to move on to new project interest! It is a good solid car and would make a GREAT project for restore, mod, or SS CLONE! Allow me to nitpick it... It needs the following: 1. Paint and Body... has a few bubbles in the usual places (TEXAS few!!). Has an odd place on the passenger side quarter that looks like bad dent repair(?) Has a few places where clear coat has peeled... 2. TOP... The power units are off the vehicle (I always used it manually)... the top itself is toast, but I have a new one in the box with pads and window. 3. SUSPENSION... Springs feel week... (like a big old car)... needs front end rebuilt... 4. Power Steering... box leaks 5. Brakes... I have a FOUR WHEEL disc conversion, new in the box... needs installed 6. Interior... seat covers are good, drivers side of bench seems a little "sprung" frame might need work ??? Carpet old and faded but I have a new one in box... dash parts old and faded but have new in box replacements. Needs visors. 7. Engine/trans... has a T400 trans seems fine... engine shows to be a 307 but has double hump heads... kinda tired but runs good. 8. AIR... was an AC car, but compr, etc missing... 9. The front floor pans have patches, the trunk and LH quarter have been replaced. 10. Crager SS rims, good TA radials. Still turns head... a 20/20 car... Just an OLD restore that needs attention again... Please ask any all questions before bidding or arrange to see it in person! VERY LOW RESERVE!!! To clear up a couple of questions I have been asked several times.... 1. The odd spot you see in one of the upclose pics (infront of deck lid, but behind the conv top well) is a spot where the clearcoat has peeled. It was scuffed and shot with rattle can clear just to keep it from getting worse. 2. If you dont want the crager wheels and T/A tires I would be willing to take $300 less than your bid provided you show up with your own rolling stock (with lug nuts) for transport! 3.
