1984 Honda Magna

I am selling my freshly built 84 Honda V65 Magna. Anyone who knows motorcycles knows that these are incredible bikes. In 1983, the V65 Magna was the quickest production motorcylce you could buy. Cycle magazine ran the 1/4 mile in 10.84 seconds @ 124 mph. This bike will keep up with all but the fastest sport bikes produced today! This bike is NOT for beginners. I bought the bike 2 years ago, and disassembled everything except the engine, although I did alot of engine work. The bike has just over 38000 miles, and about 1000 miles since I reassembled it. This bike runs like new! I ran this bike on a chassis dyno where it made 101 rwhp! Thats approx 120 flywheel hp! I LOVE this bike, but am forced to sell due to finances. ENGINE: 1100 cc liquid cooled V4 engine w/ 6-speed OD transmission custom-built carburetors with rejet new timing chain tensioners (the originals had noise issues in 83-84) Oil feed modification done NO transmission issues (known 2nd gear problem when abused) Internally cleaned and coated main and aux fuel tanks- new fuel lines and filter New Barnett Kevlar clutch New Laser 4 into 2 header K&N air filter and Amsoil oil and filter CHASSIS: Rebuilt and powercoated calipers and brackets- New EBC cross-drilled front rotors and brake pads Rebuilt clutch and brake master cyls- stainless front brake hoses Progressive front springs-approx 1" lower, handles MUCH better than stock Brand new radiator-1/2" thicker than stock 3.40 final drive ratio (stock ratio is 3.18) New Avon Azaro radial tires (GREAT TIRES!)on painted and polished 83 wheels. Corbin seat-very comfortable OTHER STUFF: polished front forks, t-stat covers, foot pegs powdercoated brake brackets, swing arm ceramic coated cam covers SIX-PACK RACK! These are very desireable. CUSTOM MIXED CANDY LASER-RED PAINT. LOOKS AWESOME!! PAINTED FRONT FENDER (THEY CAME CHROME) The only thing this bike needs is a horn button. The horns work, but the actual button on LH control is broken. The bike comes with a full cover, Spitfire windshield, and a large Joe Rocket mens textile riding jacket.
