Up for auction is a 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 429 Cobra Jet This is an all original car with very little rust Original quarters, trunk pan, floors, and rockers- All rust free!!! Doors are fine, fenders are fine, needs very little metal work anywhere Some typical rust under the hood but nothing major Car comes with original rear end and transmission NO MOTOR and only interior parts shown in photos Ram Air Hood not shown, but is included! VIN: 1F05C180XXX Driver's side door data plate: Body: 63R Color: 6 Trans: 6 DSO: 11 Axle: 9 Trim: 1B ID #: 1F05C180XXX This is a Cobra Jet Mach 1 Fastback NY State began issuing titles in 1973. And telling me i don't have a 429 Cobra Jet car and it has to be a "j" in the vin.....Please let me clarify the basic's A "j" code car is a Super Cobra jet A "c' code is a Cobra jet...This is what i am offering any vin decoder will point this out. thank you for your interestOn Dec-28-10 at 20:46:55 PST, seller added the following information: I have had many questions regarding pictures of the undercarriage...pictures will follow.But let me ad this desription as an update: The entire undercarriage ,suspension and rear end has been sandblasted. Then sprayed with PPG's DP 40 epoxy primer, all seams sealed with flexible seam sealer and primed again. Then top coated with an acrylic enamel chasis black with harderner.. New shocks and u-bolts. A lot of work has been put into the undercarriage . I always get the dirty work done first. The winner of the auction is welcome to what ever parts are in my shop that may go with the car. PLEASE don't ask what parts, there are numerous seats, trim pieces, tail lights, etc.....PLEASE READ.....I will not have time to look or answer any questions. If you buy the car, you can look and take them with you.
