Here is a 6.2l Deisel truck that I have had for a few years. I have used it around the farm. I had the transmission rebuilt for $903.35. It has the TH400 three speed in it. the truck runs good but if it is under 20 degrees I don't want to start it without having it plugged in and inside for the night. I broke the starter doing this when I first got it and now it has a new starter in it. The glow plug switch has been reworked and there is a manual switch in the cab that works good. The only thing we changed is the glow plugs are not automatic when you turn the key, you have to hold the switch for 15 to 20 seconds before you start the truck. This is a common way to repare the switch since they are getting hard to come by. the sheet metal is good on this truck there is rust on the doors and rocker panels. The truck has 6 lug wheels but the title says 2500 and the side of the truck says 2500. It does have overloads on the back axel. I did put lock outs on it. I do know the history of this truck. I bought it off of my best friends grandfather three years ago. the transmittion was out. He bought it off the GMC dealer in wabash IN in the late eighties. so he owned it most of its life. The speedometer stop working about a week after I got it home. I'm sure it has 150,000 miles on it but with the speedometer not working now I cannot guarantee it. The truck reads 47K. I replaced the vacuum switch and vacuum pump when the transmittion was replaced. The battiers are only three years old but they are week from setting. I can charge them up and it will be ready to take home. It has just set around this farm for to long the last year. The cap goes with it. I hope I covered most of the things with this truck, please feel free to ask questions. I had this truck listed before and the buyer backed out because they could not come up with the funds. I fixed the problems with the transmission and the tires if you seen this truck listed before you know what the discription did say. The truck runs great and shifts good and can be driven home. this is a good truck and needs a good home.
