For sale is my 1969 Ford Galaxie Convertible......This car is not perfect but is a great start for the summer cruiser. The car has a lot of good features and many newer parts. The Galaxie is Fords Larger body style car for its day with the Muscle Car era engines installed in them. This Galaxie has a Big Block 390 cid engine, automatic transmission, power brakes, and power top. The top is in great shape, replaced a few years ago and is fully functional. The engine was also rebuilt and with Edelbrock intake, 4 barrel carb, MSD distributor, K+N air filter. The whole engine was rebuilt and runs well. The transmission is original and still runs good. This car was only used during the summer months for cruising to cruise nights and local events. The interior was replaced and redone (seats are bench seats) and is in very nice blue and still looks great. Door panels are still in good shape so no need to locate new ones. Exterior was repainted in 2000 and was done in Metallic Blue. Unforturnately, the car was not garage kept so, the paint has had some issues with some areas have developed rust bubbles on Hood, and truck. Some other areas on doors need attention also. This car will need some body work to repair the rust areas listed. The windshield has two star chips in it and could be repaired through Safe glass repair. The floors are in good shape with a few small spots that will need attention. Please be aware that this car is NOT perfect and not a show car at this time. Very close to that part and with some work, could be show quality in no time. If any questions , please feel free to call and ask.
