For Sale to the highest bidder is a recently restored 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS Tribute 2 Door Coupe. The body was taken down to the bare metal and any issues were reworked and repaired before painting it with PPG 1965 Malibu Ermine White (Base Coat) and PPG Clear Coat. The fenders,inner fender wells,hood,trunk lid,front and rear windshield were all removed before painting the car. All rubber and gaskets were removed and replaced with new weatherstripping,door fuzzies,and gaskets. The trunk was stripped down and repainted with new black/grey spatter paint. The interior was completely gutted and the flor was stripped down,repaired where needed,and repainted black before covered with old style factory heavy duty floor underlayment. The interior was redone with new 65 Malibu Light Blue components including New Carpet,New Headliner,New Door Panels,New Qtr Panels,New Water Shields on doors and Qtr Panels,New Bucket Seats,New Rear Seats,New Seat Belts and Hardware,New Dash Pad,New Chrome Dash Bezel,New Arm Rest Pads,and New Glove Box Liner. All Door Jambs,Under Hood,and Under Trunk Lid were painted the same as the car exterior. The Engine Compartment was painted black including the fender wells,inside of fenders,a-arms,frame area,and core support and radiator. A new front windshield was installed. All of the bright trim was either replaced or restored. New Wiper arms and blades were installed. New Tail Lights were installed. New American Racing 15x7 Polished Centerline Wheels were installed with 225x60x15 inch BF Goodrich TA Radial Whiteletter Tires. The engine is a 327 SBC with Headers,HEI,and 4 Barrel Carb. The Transmission is a 4 Speed on the floor with a 65 Malibu Factory Floor Console. The Rearend is a 12 Bolt 4:11 Positrac. The car also has Stainless Dual Exhaust that sounds good! The car runs and drives great and gets a lot of attention. This car is built to drive and have fun cruising or going to car shows etc. The buyer is responsible for transporting or picking up the car and a $500 Non Refundable Deposit is due 24 Hours after the auction is over payable to Pay Pal. A New rear Antenna and Coaxial Cable were installed as well as New Speaker Wire running under the carpet towards the front of the car.
