Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 For your consideration is a 1999 Mercedes-Benz ML320 all wheel drive SUV. This car has a few issues, but could easily be brought back to A-1. We decided to buy a new C230, so this one has to go. It was my daily driver up until about a month ago when we got the new one. It’s a strong runner and goes great in the snow. Clean title. It has all the good things you’d expect in a Mercedes, leather, power everything: seats, windows, door locks, mirrors, a power sunroof and heated seats. All in working order. There is a CD changer which is not working. I haven’t tried to fix it. The flaws: tires will need to be replaced soon, at least two anyway. The A/C does not blow cold (a common problem if you’ve ever owned an older Benz). Body has some slight rust which I have photographed as well as I can. Could satand a new paint job if you wanted. I touched it up once and it looked presentable. The only major problem is that sometimes the transmission does not want to shift out of first gear. You have to turn the car off and restart a time or two it and then it’s fine. The problem is a transmission control module. The power steering pump leaked and dripped onto the modlue. This is also a common problem with the ML320 model. You can google it and read all about it. I did replace the power steering pump, but was just living with the transmission control module. The steering rack is also new. This is a great work car for winter or if you can fix it up it would be a great safe car for someone just beginning to drive. And it’s a Benz and looks sharp too. Who wouldn’t like a Mercedes under their tree? Priced considerably lower than book to sell quickly and in consideration of condition. KBB PRIVATE PARTY VALUE in fair condition is$3,700. Fair means (from KBB): Some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. Clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional. Tires may need to be replaced. There may be some repairable rust damage. Car can be viewed at 42 E. Main Street in Adena, Ohio and is available for pick up only. Payment due within three days of auction end. Vehicle sells as is, where is. Your bid is a contract to buy, please ask all questions or inspect vehicle before bidding.
