Here we have a beautifully restored 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible that has had a couple of upgrades added to it so it would make for a more driver friendly car. An excellent car was chosen first then put on a rotisserie where the body was smoothed and perfected. Then the frame was sanded and painted. A TCI mustang II front suspension was added to the original frame for better handling along with Heidts power rack and pinion steering and disc brakes. The factory 235 6 cyl. engine was rebuilt along with the powerglide automatic transmission and the original 6 volt system has been upgraded with a 12 volt conversion. The paint on the car is absolutely gorgeous and is it's original color of Sun Gold. All the chrome and stainless look new and the glass and weather stripping have all been replaced with new. The complete interior has been redone also and the dash refurbished to perfection with all new gauges. The new convertible top works great as well with all new pump, hoses, and actuators. The car also features power steering. disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, and radial tires. The car runs perfect and drives like a dream. This car is very smooth on the road and handles excellent. You can drive this car anywhere with no worries, very dependable.
