Vehicle Detail

Hi! I am selling this car for my nephew. Up for sale is a super nice and unbelievably clean and 95% rust free 1965 Buick Riviera with honest pictures provided! I've seen the other 1965's sold on here, and they are either restored to death, or they are cheaply painted and ruined with customization. This is neither. It is as original and clean and you will find. What you see is what you get. It has automatic, and 401 engine. It has approximately 103,000 original miles. It was a Southern car all of it’s life until most recently. It runs and drives excellent, and sounds like a beast. The body was repainted about 10 years ago. The engine was rebuilt approx 10k ago. It is truly a headturning drop your jaw type of car. New tires (50 miles on them), new brakes, and new battery, along with meticulous service. Holley 600 carb was just tuned up too. It runs EXCELLENT. It sits up like it should and the best way to describe the car is unbelievably nice and original looking. Very plain, yet very distinct. It is not restored and is a daily driver. It does have rust here and there, and nothing has been covered up for the pictures. Underneath the car is extremely clean for not being restored and aside of surface rust and maybe a very small rust through here or there, almost all the bolts can be undone without WD40 or breaking them. See the pics. Rocker panels are super clean, etc. No bondo and all metal and super nice unrestored condition overall. I would trust the car to drive to California and there are no major issues to note whatsoever. Small issues with the car again are that it has some rust here and there. especially in typical spots (below window, rear bottom quarter), it needs new kickpanels, and for some reason the heater is only blowing cold air. I think the heater switch broke so it will be a cold ride home if you drive it. It has nothing to do with the engine as it is running warm, normal, etc. If I dug into it or brought it to a mechanic I am sure they could fix it within an hour. The headlight motor on the passenger side needs rebuilt and does not work. It does stay open when you need the lights on so no big deal. I don't think the air conditiong is hooked up either. Power steering fluid leaks out of cap area under pressure, enough to see, it doesn't like the fluid in it. Several extra parts included with car including short headers, extra carpet pieces, etc (that's all that stuff in the trunk!). Not guaranteed, but believed to be original engine, transmission, and paint/interior scheme. If you need me to look up something on the engine to prove anything, just tell me where to look! The trim tag is as follows: 03D ST65-49447 FB156324 BODY TR601 CC PAINT EX-2KR-3T-4F-5KW. I do not know (neither does nephew) if it a GS so I assume it is not. The car is sold AS IS. The title is clean.. Now for the disclaimers!! Remember, the car is 45 years old, so keep expectations realistic. It is nor restored but it is as MOST HONEST DRIVER and straight car I have seen for as long as I remember. It basically looks like a Chevy Impala, Chevelle or Pontiac GTO / Tempest with a little more body line, and a much more rare find than a Ford Mustang. If you have any questions, feel free to click on “ask seller a question”, or call me. I will get back to you asap. I am selling this for my nephew for the same reason you are buying it, which is the thrill of the hunt. I am 100% professional and extremely detailed, and believe in integrity and honesty at all times, and expect the same. If I knew of anything negative with the car, I would mention it above!! I just sold a 1960 Impala on here last week (ended the auction early_) and the car FAR EXCEEDED the expectations, which is what I hope happens everytime. Note that I am not a classic car expert, nor pretend to be, but I do know a good car from a bad one. If you have specific questions, ask! If you do not have the money, do not bid. Please check my feedback as it is excellent. I have sold vehicles on EBAY for myself or others and have made every transaction a great one, so bid often, and bid with confidence!! Every person comments to me how I overdescribe, underpromise, and overdeliver, and this is my goal (see feedback!)!!! The car is sold AS IS with no warranty. For shipping, you should check on www.auto-car-transport.com and they will get you about 7 different rates from good carriers. You will probably see the quote come back at about $700 or so. I have shipped about 5 vehicles both out and in and have had 100% good experience with it. I will work with your shipper if needed. Clear Nebraska title, and ready to pick up when you pay in full. $1000 non refundable deposit due within 2 business days of auction close (paypal OK), and full amount due within 5 business days of auction close. If you do use paypal, then add 2.9% to the price which you use paypal, otherwise you can send a cashiers check or bring cash. Delivery and pickup is buyers responsibility, but I will assist in any way possible. Ponca is within 30 minutes of Sioux City Iowa. We are very close driving distance to Minneapolis, Des Moines, Omaha, Kansas City, Sioux Falls, and even Denver/Chicago. Again, TRUST THE FEEDBACK and trust this car! It is a very good find, and is sincerely just a beautiful car and a wonderful car to drive or restore. You get what you pay for and this is worth every penny. What else can you get for 6999? Not much....and certainly NOTHING like this. CHECK BLUE BOOK. This is OVER 50% OFF THE VALUE and from what I have seen is as nice of a 1965 Original Muscle car you will find on ebay. This is an excellent car for the money, and honestly is a car that you can hardly stop staring at.........it just has that look..... You know what I am talking about! Good luck!! My phone number is 402-755-2899. Please call if you have any questions. Mark
