1978 FORD F250 PICKUP TRUCK full of CharacterCALIFORNIA CLASSIC HAS 5TH WHEEL TOWRUNS AND DRIVES GREAT..............v8...7.5liter 460 Hello everyone and thanks for looking... i purchased this truck last year from the original owners which were a older couple from Santa Barbara California, they used it for traveling and towed their trailer.... very nice truck with lots of history..... very original and good runner.... Exterior looks nice.. i get compliments all day long when i drive it around town on the weekends.. very rare looking truck in LA,,, the paint looks original and still looks good, does have rust areas from being 32 years old,, its not like east coast rust.. its mostly surface and few through the metal ones..has lots of character. body is pretty straight and looks great.... all glasses are good, has a sliding rear window, all lights work well,, molding and trimming are in good shape, tires have 90% thread,, heavy ply tires,, the bed has a storage compartment and the 5th wheel hookup, with all electrical wires intact..... overall nice looking with bit rust issues... interior is as pictured, has a really good cb radio... has electrical brake system for towing a trailer.. seat is great dash is great, gauges work except for odometer and speedo.. i have no idea why it doesnt turn,, most likely a speedo cable... miles are stuck at 101.000 .. i dont think this truck has alot more than that,, since the original owner said its all original and speedo was working when he parked it 2 years ago... oh well .... driver door panel shows wear,, front lower side of windshield has a rusty area.. radio works .. ac does not blow cold,, will need to be serviced.. heater works fine... carpet has a ripped area.... mechanically sound,... the big v8 460/ 7.5liter engine purrs... starts right up and runs strong.. recently redid the radiator,, has a upgraded fan clutch ,, has a extra transmission oil cooler,, runs great at all times at normal temperatures, i don't see any leaks, very solid engine and transmission, the transmission shifts through gears just fine, and moves quick.. very fast truck, and drives very solid.. passed the strict california emissions smog test with no problems,, currently registered till next year , i have a clear title under my name and ready to be sold.. i hardly use this truck , so i much rather see someone that will spend more time and give the love that it needs.. very reliable truck to get in and go.. its a turn key shape.. please look at the pics and if you have any questions or offers , please feel free to email.. or contact me directly.. 626--262..0762... winning bidder to please pay 20% deposit next day of close and the balance to be paid within 5 days.. please make sure all your finances are ready before bidding .. not after... i can help you with shipping, please ask.. thanks for looking and good luck bidding..
