Hi! You have found one of the coolest trucks I have ever seen for this vintage. It runs, looks, and sounds like a beast. NEW TIRES. SUPER NICE RIMS. MATCHING TOPPER. SITS UP LIKE A REAL TRUCK!! It is a 98 Chevy 4x4 3rd Door Short Box Loaded Up LS Silverado. It has no rust, no rust bubbles, and no dents more than a ding here or there on the truck. It is absolutely without a doubt the nicest truck you will find, if you like this style, and you like red!! It is HUSKER RED in color. It runs and drives like new. Exhaust rumbles with straight pipes and 6 inch exhaust tips. Previous owner had stacks on it at one time. Yes, stacks. He was a cowboy, and the pickup tells the story. It has running lights on top, fog lights as well as bumper lights and they look stunning at night and they all work off toggle switches. Even the headlights work off a toggle switch. It was done right! This truck has been maintained to death, with lots’s of things done with receipts included. Serviced regularly and oil still isn’t even black after 1500 miles. Tranny shifts PERFECT and 4WD works perfect too. Tires are Wild Country 33x12.5x15 Tires and are NEAR NEW (95%) as well. Rims look beautiful. Truck has about 3 inch spacers (lift) in the back and has been torqued up front. It sits up perfect. It has a bedliner and a 5th wheel ball as well. Previous owner had horses. Also has a high and low bumper hitch. The pictures really don’t do this truck justice. It truly is a beautiful pickup for it’s age. Inside has power windows, locks, cruise, tilt, a/c and heat. The a/c works and the heat will burn you out! Has the split bench front seat (non power). All gauges work and read where they should. NO LEAKS and NO SMOKE on the pickup. It drives straight down the road and brakes excellent as well. Also has trailer brake assist by the way. Here are the issues, as every car has them: When driven for any distance then stopped, then restarted after about an hour or so, it might take 2 or 3 cranks. It’s either the fuel filter or the regulator. It always starts and never fails you, and it always starts first time when cold, or when restarted right away, just takes a few times when warm. It’s not a big deal at all but wanted to mention. I haven’t dug into it. The blower motor needs a little tap to start every time, and once it does it blows hard! Front left speaker does not work (has original radio and CD). The left rear side of truck has fade that needs buffed out to be brighter red. The tailgate has chips kind of all over it due to rocks. There could be surface rust from scratches, etc but that is normal and again this does not have rust on it like all others. Cab corners, doors, fenders, are all CLEAN!!! There is wear and tear here and there onm the inside and outside because it is a 1998. A few door dings, dings on top, a few cigarette burns, etc. It does not smell like a smokers truck though. Nothing major and nothing to capture on camera that you don't see. No other issues that I can think of. This truck can be driven ANYWHERE ANYTIME! The truck is sold AS IS. The title is clean..
