The 10th Anniversary Package was available as either a coupe or convertible, and featured unique 17x9-inch dark argent painted anniversary wheels, red leather seating surfaces in the front and rear, interior trim with the appearance of carbon fiber, red painted brake calipers, and SVT 10th Anniversary badges on the floor mats and rear decklid. SVT produced 2,003 units of the Anniversary model, which were available in Torch Red, Black Clearcoat, and Silver Metallic. 2003 SVT Cobra Production Numbers There were 8,394 Cobra coupes made and 5082 convertibles in 2003 of them only 2,003 were the 10th Anniversary Models. Silver Metallic Convertible #237 Torch RedConvertible#369 Black Convertible #394 Silver Metallic Coupe #381 Torch Red Coupe #365 Black Coupe #257 Total 2,003 Debuting in early 2002, the 2003 Cobra, codenamed "Terminator" by the SVT development crew, and quickly fell into common usage for the 2003/04 Cobra, came with a supercharged 4.6 L DOHC engine. The engine was rated at 390 bhp (291 kW) at 6000 rpm and 390 lbf·ft (530 N·m) of torque at 3500 rpm. However these numbers were found to be "sandbagged", or under rated, and actually produced between 420 bhp (313 kW) and 430 bhp (321 kW). Numerous improvements were made to the powertrain and driveline to handle the increase from the previous model year. A cast iron block was used instead of aluminum, with stronger internals,capable of producing 999+ RWHP, including forged Zolner pistons and Manley H-beam connecting rods that were modified with a wrist pin oiling hole by the SVT engine builders. These upgrades were critical in order to support the 8 psi (0.55 bar) of boost delivered from the stock Eaton M112 roots supercharger. Other improvements include the use of an aluminium flywheel connected to a Tremec T-56 six-speed transmission, 3.55:1 rear axle ratio and stronger 31 spline half shafts with revised upper and lower control arms. These modifications launched the Cobra from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and the quarter mile in the high 12's at over 110 mph (180 km/h). Some have gone as low as 12.4 seconds with a professional driver and good conditions in stock form. This is a rare 2003 Ford Mustang "COBRA" 10TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION convertible mustang! Debuting in early 2002, the 2003 Cobra, codenamed "Terminator" by the SVT development crew, and quickly fell into common usage for the 2003/04 Cobra, came with a supercharged 4.6 L DOHC engine. The engine was rated at 390 bhp (291 kW) at 6000 rpm and 390 lbf·ft (530 N·m) of torque at 3500 rpm. However these numbers were found to be "sandbagged", or under rated, and actually produced between 420 bhp (313 kW) and 430 bhp (321 kW). Numerous improvements were made to the powertrain and driveline to handle the increase from the previous model year. A cast iron block was used instead of aluminum, with stronger internals,capable of producing 999+ RWHP, including forged Zolner pistons and Manley H-beam connecting rods that were modified with a wrist pin oiling hole by the SVT engine builders. These upgrades were critical in order to support the 8 psi (0.55 bar) of boost delivered from the stock Eaton M112 roots supercharger. Other improvements include the use of an aluminium flywheel connected to a Tremec T-56 six-speed transmission, 3.55:1 rear axle ratio and stronger 31 spline half shafts with revised upper and lower control arms. These modifications launched the Cobra from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and the quarter mile in the high 12's at over 110 mph (180 km/h). Some have gone as low as 12.4 seconds with a professional driver and good conditions in stock form.
