This is a nice car, and was recently serviced by the previous owner, including new Michelin tires. The miles on this car are not actual, and I'm not sure why. The odometer functions properly and seems original. We've priced the car accordingly. We obtained this 560SL on a trade here at our dealership on a newer R-class Mercedes. This was a "special occassion" driver of the previous owner and was out on the road very little. This car is a fine "driver", not the vintage collectable, but certainly a worthy car to own and enjoy. From 15 feet away, the car looks pristine, with shiny paint, shiny chrome, and no real damage or rust that's noticeable. Upon close inspection, you'll see a few spots of rust bubbling (pictured), same tarnish to the wheels, and some minor scratches or dings here or there. On the inside, the condition report is the same. The seats and carpet look good at first glance and present themselves well. Upon close inspection, you'll notice some bolster wear and a couple of tears, and some mis-matched and faded carpet. BOTH TOPS ARE INCLUDED, and are in very good condition. The car starts, runs, drives, brakes, and shifts well. You can get in this car and drive it, and it's ready to be enjoyed. We did not run this car through our service department, simply because we didn't plan on offering it as a retail vehicle. Because of this, we've listed it with a no reserve auction with a wholesale attitude, looking for offers and bids. This vehicle is 100% as-is, and will be sold with a clean title and is true mileage unknown. I have service records for this car from Fall 2009, showing upper and lower ball joints replaced, as well as tie rods AND tires with an alignment. Also, various switches and controls were replaced' TOTAL REPAIRS WERE OVER $4000. We're a highline, exotic, and performance vehicle dealership, and this car is generally not what we feature, so I've tried to describe it as reasonable as possible.
