Condition: The car has been in storage for approximately 15 years. It has some rust on the back fenders and front nose. The convertible top has its frame only (I believe all parts are available) and the hard top is in need of upholstery and paint. The car's original color was blue but it is now grey and with some rust spots. The car has its original paint what is left of it. The upholstery is leather which has not been treated nor cared for for some years. It is cracked and dried. One sun-visor is unattached. At last inspection, the tires appeared OK but were low on air. The shop where the car is stored informs me that they start the car on occasion but do not drive it. It is stored outside with plastic tarps over it. The car is stored in northern California in Greenbrae just south of San Rafael, California. The heater does not turn off nor on, although there are the original knobs and slides for adjustment, it just gets hot. Features: This is a classic car It is hard to find a car of this make, model and year in this restorable condition. It could also be a treasure for parts. The car is not a “sports” car. It is a touring car, best operated on small scenic roads in sunny weather. History: Seller purchased the car in 1971 from a private party (friend). Between 1971 and approximately 1995 the car was used for commuting to and from Marin County to San Francisco, approximately 30 miles round-trip, and for pleasure, including fishing, camping and driving in the Sierra Nevada mountains and along the Northern California coast. It appears that the car originally came from a place that used salt on the roads as the rust on the replaced floorboards (1984) was extensive before replacement. Seller has never had the car in snow or winter conditions. Shipping & Payment: Payment in full within seven (7) days of end of auction to seller’s account with Paypal.com,or cash, cashier's check or money order, at which time seller will deliver registration. The vehicle must be picked up within 20 days of close of auction. California buyers will be charged sales tax and licensing. Out of state buyers (including other countries), We will send title and you will be responsible for all registration fees and taxes in your own state or providence. If leaving the state or country, the car must be picked up by a transportation company that can provide a bill of lading, otherwise California sales tax will be charged (All licensed transport companies provide these.) Buyer will be responsible for all sales tax, delivery costs and arrangements for picking up the vehicle. If the automobile is not picked up within 10 days after payment in full to Seller’s PayPal account, Seller will charge a fee of fifty ($50) dollars per day for everyday the automobile is not picked up.The car will be resold if not picked up within thirty days of end of auction.
