I am selling my 1970 VW Squareback. I bought this from a retired VW shop owner. He had it sitting behind his shop for ages till he closed up shop a few years back and then it sat in a yard till I bought it up. The car had just gotten a freshly rebuilt 1.6, I had it running in about an hour after I had picked it up after it sat for years. The type 3 runs great now, replaced most of the gas lines and got a reman tank. The brakes are not operable at the moment, I got a new master cylinder for it and replaced some brake lines. I can't get the system bled though for some reason. This Squareback would be drivable if it had brakes that worked. The e-brake is free and works perfect. The floor pans are rusty and have some holes in them at the seams. The battery tray is rusted out but will still barely hold a battery to start it. I pulled the carpet out of it so that the moisture wouldn't rust it away. The rest of the interior is there for patterns. The trim pieces are all there, and headlight chrome buckets are in great shape. Also comes with Recaro vintage seats with the mesh headrests. The glass is all in great shape has old window tint on them, other wise very clean and no cracks or chips. The engine has a aftermarket weber carb installed on it, this thing really runs great. no big leaks anywhere, comes with all heat ducts. Will come with lots of extras!
