Vehicle Detail

Silverado Dually, 2WD, 454 Eng, Automatic. The body was repainted by the previous owner so it is in good shape. The frame is typical for a 13 yr old vehicle driving around this area. In the past two years it has new front brakes, all brake lines replaced, front end rebuilt, new hoses, all 6 tires, Dipstick Tube replaced (common problem for this model), all filters, fluids all flushed. It has a Bed Liner, Gooseneck 2 5/16, standard hitch, power tinted windows, cruise, etc... I bought this truck a few years ago from a horse show guy. He had a matching trailer (not included, by the way). The truck is pretty sharp both day and night, which fits his horse shows. I needed to move a couple of things and found I liked it more than expected. Though the gas mileage is not what I was used to driving my other much smaller truck, the ride was better than expected. I don't own a trailer, but borrowed my brothers gooseneck trailer twice to move a few things, most notably, move my new wife to IL. It towed nicely both times I used it. It's been a great family truckster since then which my kids loved. So, driving a big truck around just fit me, and I bought a new dually recently. Anyway, it's a nice dually. It has some little options not hooked up right now from its horse show days. Rear headlights just to name one. It's not perfect though. The tailgate has a big scratch in it as well as the latch is difficult to operate. The tailgate works, just not as nicely as it should. The captains lumbar support isn't working as advertised anymore but the 6 way power seat works. The electric locks are not working either, though they work manually. The manual locks worked fine for me so I didn't troubleshoot that issue. Like I said, the body is almost rust free, but the frame has typical rust for a 13 yr old truck. If your going to be hauling kids around, this thing is great!! Hope you like it as much as I did and good luck bidding. On Dec-18-10 at 10:04:55 PST, seller added the following information: I added some pictures of the tires P225/70R15, VIN, Frame rust is surface only, and door areas which are pretty clean (just a smidgen of rust can be seen). The truck is wired for trailer electric brakes. I have many more pics of the bed showing it with and without the liner installed, very clean and no rust. The only significant rust, as mentioned before, is on the frame. All surface rust, no holes, which is evident from the pics. This truck was previously for sale and one of the brake lines broke on the test drive. I just couldn't believe it! The buyer was stuck as I couldn't get it fixed while he was there and he had come a great distance. Out of frustration, I sent it to the shop and had them replace the entire set of brake lines and anything else they thought wasn't perfect. $1600 later, she was shining. My loss, your gain, just not going to take a chance of any crazy event like that happening again. That pretty much covers all the questions I have been asked. Good luck and happy bidding.
