I will start off describing the transferable warranty. On July 27, 2010 the previous owner put a new transmission by American Transmissions in Plymouth, MI. The warranty is transferable to the next owner, you will need to call the company if you purchase the vehicle to put it in your name, the warranty is good until July 27, 2011. For older postal vehicles that aren't Jeeps all I do is change the oil, have the car detailed, and put it on ebay. When I drove this down the highway and back the transmission shifted smoothly of course and the engine drove strong. Other things I noticed the steering is a bit stiff and there is play in the left front wheel, possibly a bearing so there is play when driving down the highway. The previous owner lived about 10 hours away from our dealership and brought the car on a trailer and I would suggest the same if you are a long distance from us.We would take a trade-in on this vehicle, give Alex a call @ 815-777-1777 for a price before bidding. This is a NO RESERVE auction with the vehicle being sold AS-IS other than the transferable transmission warranty that is not through our dealership.
