This Trans Am was stored for many years with very low miles. Instead of the low horsepower 400, installed is a 455 V8 YC code, 4-bolt main, out of a 1971 Trans Am with stock horsepower over 300HP. The motor was upgraded with a toker intake, custom headers, 30 over pistons, ARP rod bolts, crane cam 234, and very low miles since rebuild. The transmission is the original 4 speed with a Hurst shifter.This car really moves, I raced a 2008 DTS Cadillac when I took her out for pictures and made that car seam like it was going backward. The paint and body is in excellent condition. NO rust what so ever! The buccaneer red paint is fresh and has always been stored in the garage and only hand washed. The decals are factory correct from Phoenix graphics and are perfect. The doors do not sag and close very tight. The T.A. has all new weather stripping which is perfect all around except on the corner of the driver door. The interior is brand new factory correct white vinyl. The wheels are the factory honeycombs that have been refinished however; the finish is cracking in some places. This T.A. has the factory tach and clock that work correctly; in fact, all of the gauges work along with all of the lights and wind shield wipers.
