Vehicle Detail
I'm having problems adding pictures to this but I can email you pictures upon request. I usually try to have as many pictures listed as possible but I've tried for 2 days and only got one. Up for auction is a vintage Honda Super Sport that has been garage kept. It is a 1976 (june 1975) CB400F Four cylinder. I believe that it is the Light Ruby Red. The side covers on the 76 were factory black. It does run and I have rode it about 20 miles total since I bought it and it shifts smoothly through all 6 gears. The gas tank seems to be in great shape on the inside as you can see in the pictures it doesn't seem to have rusted. Ther is a piece of black tape on the seat possibly a rip or seam came loose. There is some rust on some of the chrome. 4 into 1 header seems to be in fair shape, it sounds like it has an exhaust leak at the collector where it goes into the megaphone. The person that I got it from bought the bike with 20130 miles on it back in 9-25-09 and it has 20293 on it now, so thats only 163 miles in 14 months and about 20 of It I put on it to get it home. It does need some work like all of the older Honda motorcycles found on Ebay. It needs: tires, a battery, brake master cylinder rebuilt, and a needle and seat set for one of the carbs and have the carbs tuned up. Also the starter switch had broke and the previous owner put a push button switch next to the speedometer to start it. This is located in Cerulean, Ky and anyone is welcome to come and check it out personally just give me a call and let me know when. My number is 1-270-498-2151. I will get it out this weekend and start it up and move it around. I would not recomend riding this bike until carburetors are adjusted and brakes are fixed. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping, I can help with loading it on a trailer.
