Vehicle Detail
Hey folks, I'm relisting this bike, because I'm pretty sure someone tried to scam me. No deposit was made and I'm getting broken English emails demanding that I help the buyer with shipping arrangements for extra cash(telltale signs of fraud). So, I WILL offer to hold the bike while a buyer arranges for pick-up or shipping, but I am not interested in arranging it myself. And please message me if you have a ZERO feedback before you bid so I know you're legitimate. Thanks. This bike is nearly original, and totally un-cafe'd (if that's a word). The only downsides on this bike to a collector or enthusiast would be the non-original paint color (the bike was originally a metallic orange), and the seat cover, which you might notice does not have the traditional quilted pattern. Aside from that, the bike is in pretty darn good shape and upgrades are as following: - New tires summer '10- Tank sealed- OEM chain summer '10- Plugs and wires summer '10- Front brake pads summer '10- New petcock- New front fork seals This bike has original pipes in great condition, and it fires up instantly. I've only ridden the bike over this last summer and simply don't have anywhere to store it and need to free up the cash as I'm starting a business. I've had zero problems getting it started up and running and riding. Everything works and it's a great looking bike. The only mechanical issue I'm aware of is that it has a small oil leak since I've stopped riding it. It didn't seem to leak at all over the summer while it was getting ridden regularly, but just started over the last couple weeks. I'm not much of a mechanic myself and have always hired the work done, so I can't say much about what is causing the leak or how to fix it, other than it might be a head gasket, and it's a very slow leak and hasn't affected the motor. Please feel free to email with any further questions. Bike is available for buyer shipping or pick-up only.
