Hello there! Up for auction (NO RESERVE) is this beautiful green 2001 VW Golf TDI (diesel engine) with 171200 miles, loaded with an automatic transmission, keyless entry (remote controls), CD and cassette player, power windows, locks, trunk, mirrors, powerful A/C and heater ready to keep you warm during this winter, rear window defroster, power steering and many others. This Golf is a one owner vehicle and has a clean Maryland title without record of being involved in any kind of accident. The car is in excellent condition and is a pleasure to drive it. No service lights are on and car feels very strong and smooth. I would drive it anywhere. As you can see in my feedbacks, I do spend time in VW’s TDI and my priority is to satisfy to whoever is my final bidder and this won’t be the exception. I had performed a huge maintenance practice on this vehicle in order to assure that is working as it should. Things that have been done to this Golf at 170.000 miles are: 100K miles timing belt kit installed, (water pump with metal impeller, timing belt, 3 rollers, 1 belt tensioner, camshaft and crankshaft seals), serpentine belt. Flushed cooling system with original Pentosin (pink) G12 antifreeze. Engine oil flushed with synthetic Rotella Shell 5w-40 along with its oil filter, air, cabin and fuel filter were also replaced, complete brake kit was installed, front and rear disc and brake pads on four wheels. Also as is well known these cars build dirt inside their intake manifold and EGR valve, no worries, both have being cleaned. Manifold, egr valve and pipes are carbon free. Also transmission maintenance was done with a new filter and new semy-synthetic transmission fluid Febi bilstein. There is a lot of work done on this vehicle to assure that new owner will be satisfied with this new purchase, as many other TDI customers that I had the pleasure to deal with in former sales. As my personal opinion car is in very good condition with everything in good working order, but please keep in mind you’re not buying a brand new vehicle and it isn’t perfect. I’d like to mention that interior was smoked in by its previous owner, so headliner has a couple of small burned spot, glove compartment has a hinge that is broken so it does work but you have to treat it carefully and arm-rest in between front seats is broken. Exterior is neat but a small dent on front passenger side fender is noticeable, and rear quarter panel same side has some dings. (Please see pictures). I cannot think of anything else not properly working in this very moment. New owner will be offered assistance in any case that is needed. I could pick you up at any of the three Metro DC area airports (Washington DC, Baltimore MD, Dulles VA), also car could be dropped at anyone of them by your arrival time. Keep in mind that car has not tags, so you are to bring tags or temporary permit to transport the vehicle. ALSO buying the car from me you have the option of FREE delivery anywhere not further than 250 miles from Gaithersburg MD. It is really a pleasure for me to drive my TDIs to theirs new destination and this is not an exception. Yes, FREE. Tolls are to be added (X2) * to the final price if there is any in between the 250 miles distance. *Sold car’s toll won’t be added to final price but a second service car is traveling with me for my return. TDIs are very joyful and fun vehicles to work on so that's why I'm involved in investing my time in them, is more for me as a hobby than any other thing.
