VERY STRONG RUNNER ALLISON AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLINK FSP SERIES POWER ANGLE (REVESIBLE) PLOW ( TOP OF THE LINE, STRONGEST FLINK PLOW MODEL) HYDRAULIC TAILGATE SPREADER BOX HEAVY SPEC SINGLE AXLE CAB / CHASSIS DUAL AIR SUSPENSION SEATS HEATED STAINLESS SIDE MIRRORS FACTORY INSTALLED AM/FM STEREO AIR POWERED WINSHIELD WIPERS AIR HORN ELECTRIC ENGINE BLOCK / TANK HEATER PLUG THREE BATTERIES NICE POWER STEERING, NO NOISES OR LEAKS TRUCK DRIVES STRAIGHT GOOD ALIGNMENT BRAKES STOP THE TRUCK SMOOTH AND STRAIGHT NO MALFUNCTIONS here is you chance to buy a serious snow command machine. very nice with all the right goodies. ford L8000 single axle cab / chassis. heavy spec double frame. caterpillar 3208 diesel engine, very reliable and always starts. its equipped with a plug in block heater for those real cold winter nights. motor sounds great and runs out excellent, high oil pressure, no excessive smoke. expensive option allison automatic transmission with heavy duty trans cooler. shifts smooth and right on the money. air brakes work well, pressure up fast and hold air with no leaks. electric button on / off pto. interior is very comfortable, dual power air ride seats. high output heater blower fan, heater & defroster work excellent, you will cook on the coldest days. air controlled windshield wipers from slow to super fast and everything inbetween. dual heated stainless steel side mirrors which are working. no interior diesel fumes, truck has a good exhaust. the flink 11'-0" FSP plow is the top of the line flink, priced around 25k new. power angle turns very fast, power lift. plow is very responsive and the controlls are tight with no play . severe duty cannon style spring / shock. heavyweight blade really scrapes the surface clean, sharp cutting edge and curb guard. hydraulic rear tailgate spreader. good motor wheel really spins, works as it should. it will through salt like youve never seen. dump box lifts up fast and does not weep. power down as well. as you can see in the photos, the truck looks good. however it does have its share of corossion. the bottom of the doors and thresholds have rust. floorboards are solid. the inside of the dump box has rust along the bottom corners and will need some patches. the spreader box will also need a strip of metal. the paint job is not the best. the mudflaps will need to be secured, and one rear fender bracket needs a weld. there are some fluid drips, mainly when parked such as the trans pan plug. really a good operating truck, just needs a little metal added which can be done in a few hours if you want to salt, you can plow with it as is.
