1984 VOLKSWAGEN WESTFALIA CAMPER. ALL ORIGINAL, 100 % RUST FREE VEHICLE!!! CLEAN NM TITLE!!!!! RUNS EXCELLENT Up for auction is a 1984 Volkswagen Westfalia camper of which I am the third owner. This Westy has been meticulously maintained, and only used as secondary transportation and camping trips. It is 100% original and 100% rust free New Mexico/ Arizona car. The paint is original and is in great shape. It has never been in an accident and has ZERO bondo or bodywork. There is a Very Small dent next to the sliding door (look at pic). The Westy has its original drive-train which has 122k miles. It runs and drives excellent and strong with Zero smoke, and no noises. It starts right up cruises down the road at 75 all day long. It has a four speed transmission that shifts beautifully with ease. very good clutch. On a side note... The speedo jumps with a variance of 15 miles an hour so I replaced the cable and it still does it. Although the mileage IS accurate. This IS an A/C car. It does blow but not cold (recharge?). The interior of this Westy is in Amazing shape. It is also 100% complete...nothing missing. The seats both front and rear are excellent and un-torn. Carpet is clean and solid. The Pop top canvas is perfect and NOT brittle and the mechanism works perfect. All camping equipment works as it should: sink, stove, refrigerator. Although I would suggest getting the propane lines checked for leaks as a precaution. It currently has no propane in it. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR OVERVIEW AND MORE INFO. OVERVIEW: Exterior: Clean and 100% rust free. The paint is original and currently in great shape. small dent on passenger side by sliding door. Interior: All original and clean: nothing missing. Dash has no radio. Nice headliner. Camper interior equipment: Everything is there. Nothing missing. Pop Top: Original and in good shape, no tears, mechanism is perfect. Electrical: Everything works as it should with no problems. Tires: Four new tires with less then 3k miles on them. Spare is brand new with zero miles. Glass: windshield is cracked. The rest are excellent with no cracks or chips. Bads: front grill is cracked. Seal around pop top needs replaced. Windshield cracked. very small dent by door. Missing one hub cap.A/C: all is there and it does blow but not cold...recharge? Overall this is a great westy. I would feel super confident jumping in and taking it cross country.
