We've been trying to buy an EOS for a while just because they're such cool little cars, but they've just been way too pricey. This one was a really good deal, so we couldn't pass it up. The car is very clean and original, has a perfect 1-owner no road salt Colorado history, with VW dealer service documentation on the Carfax. Everything works, top is in perfect operating order, tires are fairly new, has every toy under the sun, and it's still under powertrain warranty to 60k. It's really a remarkable car and a great mix of sport, convertible, utility and luxury, and it cost a fraction of what they did new. exterior The paint and body on this vehicle are in great shape and should be, it has very reasonable mileage. It has great gloss, no dents, noticeable scratches, certainly never been painted on. The wheels are in nice shape and tires aren't all that old. The windshield is good, no cracks or bad chips. There's really very little wear at all. It has 2-3 very small touched up scratches, less than 3/4" each and thin. It's still a used car, but by most peoples' standards it's quite beautiful. interior The interior is nice as well, never smoked in. It still has plenty new car smell left...love it! The car has almost every available option, only missing Nav, if they even offered it that year. It does have the upgraded dynaudio sound system, the glass roof, power everything, heated seats, side air bags, and on and on. Everything works perfect. We have the manuals, the keyless clicker, the mats and the windscreen in its' original bag. She's all here. There's just a couple things to mention for wear inside. It has a tiny bit of in/out on the back of the drivers seat bolster, shown in the photos. It also seems to have a bit of cloudiness to the instrument cluster clear plastic. I can't really tell if it's inside or out, might buff out, might not. I called VW and unfortunately the clear trim isn't serviceable. A new cluster is $500, plus roughly $50 programming. If it bothers you, you know what it costs to fix. It wouldn't be a big deal to me. mechanical The car runs and drives every bit as new and should. It's been a VW dealer serviced vehicle since day one and under warranty. I've done business with more than one VW franchise and they are very talented at getting you to spend a fortune on service. The car has great power, very quick! It should get very reasonable fuel economy if you're modest with the turbonium. We received the car in perfect operating order, more or less had new oil in it. The brakes, belts, hoses, everything all in tip-top shape. It's a blast to drive. The car has 22 months and the remainder of mileage to 60k of powertrain warranty through VW left.
